Here’s my quick and dirty two cents: Cleaner Guru looks super professional, but the second you actually want the app to, you know, do something, it’s paywall city. I get the company has to make money, but $7.99 a week? Wild. I bounced after my third “Upgrade now!” pop-up.
Clever Cleaner is actually free for the basics, which is what 99% of us want—duplicate photos gone, contacts cleaned, random garbage identified, etc. No tap-dancing through sub-menus or being bullied to subscribe.
